  • In this impromptu post, I am poolside while musing about some of the things I realized I have grown away from, including amusement park rides, caffeinated beverages and “stories”.

You know, BCUFam, I did not intend for the podcast to go into the direction it did, but I LOVE when the Lord comes in and takes over! Also, the clarity and maturity that comes with spending time with Jesus is unmatched, so let’s get in as much prime time with Him as we can! Amen? Amen! Let’s pray!

Father in the name of Jesus, as we come before You, we thank You for all Your goodness, grace and mercy! We also thank You, Jesus for maturity and growing in grace——not only in the natural, as we age, but in our spiritual lives, as we age there as well. Please help us to hear Your voice and follow what You tell us to do, so that You are completely glorified, honored and praised! 

As always, we ask the You bless us to be an excellent witness to all around us, so that people may ask, “what must I do to be saved?” We thank You, Jesus for helping is to do all we are supposed to, so we see You in peace and are welcomed into Heaven, in Jesus Name we pray, Amen!

BCUFam, this message was a timely reminder that as witnesses of Christ, we are epistles known and read of all men (2 Corinthians 3:2-3). Meaning, that our interactions with others do matter! Therefore, we want to (with the help of the Lord), be good stewards over this awesome, and sometimes challenging responsibility. This means our interactions should be love, plant and water-based (not celebrating or condoning sin), with the prayer that the person will yield to Christ. Amen? Amen! Let’s pray!

Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank You as always for the preached Word of God that has blessed us today! We thank You for the witnesses You have sent our way, and for choosing us to be witnesses for You! Please bless us to be mindful that our job is to humbly live the life as a good witness of You, Jesus, so that someone will recognize they need You and ask, “what must I do to be saved?” Thank You for blessing us to do the planting and watering, knowing that You will bring the increase! And we will continue to give Your Name the praise, honor and glory that belongs to You! In Jesus name, we pray, Amen!

We ask, Jesus, just as you drew us to You, that You will draw all those who are entangled in darkness, those who are trapped in sin, our families, friends, neighbors, co-workers, doctors, lawyers, government leaders— EVERYONE—and let them know the need of salvation. For it is Your will that NONE should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9) We thank You for using and perfecting us as we surrender to You, so we can continue to be a blessing to the Body of Christ, a witness to all who interact with, and most of all, pleasing to You! [God’s] Timing is Everything.

  • The word kairos comes from a Greek term translated as the “right time” or “opportune moment”.
  • While we need chronos time to function on Earth, God operates in the kairos time zone.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank You for what you have taught us today. Thank You for reminding us to seek You and to heed to Your voice, even in what seems ordinary and routine, so we are following Your perfect path. We thank You for representing You well in our daily routines, so we can hear “well done” when we see You face-to-face! We thank and praise You for the opportunities You will give us to be a blessing to someone/be blessed by someone in the kairos time zone. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen!

BCUFam, did it surprise you that we make judgements daily as it relates to decision-making? What about the phrase “you cannot judge me”? It is a blessing to now have a deeper understanding and wisdom around this important word. With the help of the Lord, let’s make it our business to judge only according to how the Lord instructs us. Amen? Amen! Let’s pray!

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we come before You with a thankful heart for more insight into Your Word, and for helping us to judge things the way You would have us to, or not at all. We ask that You would help us to turn the spotlight on ourselves on all the areas needed to be more like You. Also, as we are speaking and commenting about things, please help us to remember to acknowledge You first, so that our speech is edifying, administers grace to the hearer and is seasoned with salt (Colossians 4:6 and Ephesians 4:29). We ask that You continue to bless and strengthen us, as we continue to walk upright before You, in Jesus name, we pray and thank You, Amen!
