This post is inspired by a meme that asked “have you prayed about it as much as you have talked about it?”
James chapter 1 reminds us that we need to count “divers temptations” we go through all joy. What we tend to do in many cases is complain to those who will listen (ask me how I know). š
There is nothing wrong with talking to someone to get better (godly) counsel on situations, but we also need to take matters to the Lord in PRAYER.
In fact, we need to take EVERYTHING to the Lord in prayer.

Know ye that theĀ LordĀ he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture (Psalm 100:3).
There isĀ no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD (Proverbs 21:30).
Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, orĀ beingĀ his counseller hath taught him? (Isaiah 41:30).
But now, O LORD, thouĀ artĀ our father; weĀ areĀ the clay, and thou our potter; and we allĀ areĀ the work of thy hand (Isaiah 64:8).
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
Trust in theĀ LordĀ with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
While we trust God to take care of the situation, He will take care of us. @BCU
