Podcast highlights:
- Last time we were together, a cashier “gave” me some canned goods.
- Because of how I received the merchandise, the Lord would not let me rest about the situation.
- My quandary was not wanting to get the cashier in any trouble, as I knew some of her financial story.
- The Lord sent my best friend to council me on how to take care of things so that He was pleased.
KJV Scripture References
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
14 Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
WHEW BCUFam, I am SOO grateful to God for wise counsel (thanks Kenya!), and following the leading of the Lord in paying for those items! And He worked out so I didn’t get the cashier in trouble (let’s keep her in prayer that God speaks to her heart about doing things correctly and saves her). Additionally, the head cashier was also able to be witnessed to, so God had a purpose for the interaction from the start. I just love how intentional our GOOD God is! Amen? Amen! Let’s pray!
Eternal God and amazing Savior as we come before You today, we bless Your name, and we praise You! Lord, please help us to hear Your voice clearly, and to be obedient and follow through on what You’re telling us to do, so You are pleased with us. We thank You, Lord, for every opportunity that we have to represent You with distinction! In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we bless you and we praise You, Amen!
